I’m a bookbinder and graphic designer currently studying at ArtEZ University of the Arts. I’m particularly interested in book design, printed matter, archiving, bookbinding and have a deep passion for traditional crafts. I
enjoy a collaborative creative process. My work is driven by a commitment to craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail, colour combinations and clarity of design. Whether it’s crafting custom books, designing layouts, or preserving the beauty of traditional techniques, my goal is always to produce work that is both functional and visually compelling.

The Poison Book Project Database created by The Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and the University of Delaware, designed and bound into a double hardcover book.
This book contains the entire database of the Poison Book Project conducted by the University of Delaware and The Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library. The database contains a list of 267 titles of books that contain arsenic. The book is divided into 6 chapters that contain articles, essays and interviews that offer insight into the use, invention and dangers of arsenic. These chapters are printed on green paper. The chapters printed on white pages are divided into 5 categories of arsenical materials that are found in or on these books.
Each page displays one book in the database and contains information on the date it was published, the title, author, publisher, arsenical material and its OCLC number. The title, author and publisher are displayed inside a green rectangle that is a 1:2 ratio to the measurements of the actual book it is referencing.
Some pages contain missing information such as author or publisher. In this case the missing information is marked with a green fingerprint. The fingerprints on these pages are done by hand using green ink.
The book is bound using a double hardcover technique. Showing off two, two-tone linnen colours and hiding a historical print inside the cover, only visible when prying open the binding. Gold and green hand-sewn headbands adorn the top and bottom of the book, it’s pattern corresponding to the coloured chapters. The cover and spine are screenprinted in gold ink. The cover shows off a golden rectangle that is a 1:2 ratio in measurements of the binding. The book is housed in a slipcase with corresponding colour-scheme.
