I’m a bookbinder and graphic designer currently studying at ArtEZ University of the Arts. I’m particularly interested in book design, printed matter, archiving, bookbinding and have a deep passion for traditional crafts. I
enjoy a collaborative creative process. My work is driven by a commitment to craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail, colour combinations and clarity of design. Whether it’s crafting custom books, designing layouts, or preserving the beauty of traditional techniques, my goal is always to produce work that is both functional and visually compelling.

Double-sided poster design shining light on the issue of local printing houses disappearing resulting in knowledge and craftsmanship being lost.
Over the past few years, local printing houses across the Netherlands have slowly been disappearing. Many are being bought out or replaced by larger printing companies. Because of this shift, craftsmanship and knowledge is being lost.
Together with Isabel van de Stadt we designed a poster to shine light on this issue. Our poster focuses on the craftsmanship and the beauty of process. By using repetition and tactility within the design we want to represent the rhythm and dedication of specialised printing houses. The images are individual frames taken from a video that was taken at a local printing house. In each frame we isolated the wheel bearings and highlighted them using silver “foil”. The pattern created by the bearings is mirrored on the back of the poster and has been intertwined with our call to action.
We are happy to announce that our poster design was chosen by NPN Printing to be printed and distributed. More information will follow when production has started.
